Is SelfNeuron private?
Yes. Privacy is built into how SelfNeuron works, not added later.
- The AI runs on infrastructure we control.Your files and email aren’t sent to OpenAI, Anthropic or any other AI company to be read or answered. If you turn on the Web source, your question is sent to Google Search to find results; your files are not.
- No training on your data.Your content is used only to answer your own questions. It’s never used to train AI models.
- Read-only Google access.SelfNeuron never sends, changes or deletes anything in your Gmail, Google Drive or Google Cloud Storage.
- You stay in control.Disconnect a source or delete your account anytime, and the data goes with it. Read the Privacy Policy.

Why I built SelfNeuron
I’m Raman, founder of iPowersoft, Inc., an IT software development and consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Like many small business owners, I had work and personal files spread across drives, folders, inboxes and apps. When I needed one specific detail, usually in a hurry, finding it meant digging through all of them.
I wanted two things: one secure place to keep everything, and a way to get the exact answer back in seconds. After three decades as a data scientist and technology leader, I knew AI could solve this, provided it was built with privacy at its core.
SelfNeuron is the result: ask a question in plain language, get the answer with its source, and know your data is safe.
